          Parting Locks Mould is also called heat resistant parting locks, resin mold locking device, nylon resin shutter, etc., abbreviated as PL in English. Its principle is that nylon resin is expanded by the locking force of tapered bolts, and it is locked by friction with the template. Nylon sleeve will be worn in the process of use, and it needs to be adjusted by using tapered bolts to enhance the locking force. Therefore, for the sake of safety, it is generally not used in unmanned machines such as automatic injection molding machines or injection molding with short molding cycle. Because of its good cost performance, this structure is widely used in molds or small molds with less production. The locking amount is generally adjusted according to the movement of the runner push plate during the die test. When the temperature exceeds 80℃ C, the nylon will soften and the load will be reduced, so the nylon mold locking device is not suitable for this kind of mold. In addition, when the nylon sleeve is stained with oil, the friction coefficient will decrease and it will not play its due role. If the surface roughness of the mounting holes on the template is finished to Ra02~1.6, and the end face is chamfered R, the wear of nylon can be well prevented. However, the above processing can be omitted when using a special PLBS sleeve.

The product is usually used to control the opening and closing between different templates. The nylon is buried about 3 m from the moving template, and the inner surface of the fixed template hole is machined to the range of Ra1.6-Ra,2, and the entrance of the template surface is machined with the chamfering angle R. If C chamfer is machined, its durability will be reduced.
Reference of hole size tolerance: H7 is hole when PL10 is used, and H7 is hole +0.1mm when PL13, 16 and 20 are used as the benchmark. If special PLBS is used, the above procedures of rounding angle R and polishing can be omitted.
